The stage is set for the commencement of the Miss Samoa 2022 competition, and newly crowned Miss Samoa Victoria Olivia Grace Unasa Siaosi is stoked about her pageant journey.
On this journey, Ms Siaosi will represent the villages of Solosolo, Lufilufi, Sufagaifaga and Safune.
The 20 year old won Miss Personality, Miss Photogenic, Miss Internet, Global Indigenous Runway Award, Best Talent and Introduction in the Miss Samoa Victoria pageant.

The health science student of La Trobe University in Melbourne said this was an opportunity to give back to her country of origin.
“If I win, I will help promote sustainability, environment, tourism, agriculture and businesses to maintain Samoa’s natural beauty for today and generations to come,” she said in the Vodafone Samoa Facebook video.

A community fundraiser is being organised for August 27 to support Ms Siaosi’s journey to Samoa. The fundraiser will feature entertainment from the Miss Samoa Victoria pageant 2022 contestants.
Miss Samoa New Zealand 2022 Shilohm Filipi will also be joining Miss Samoa Victoria in the pageant in September.

Speaking to Samoa Observor Miss Filipi said “Being crowned Miss Samoa NZ holds a special responsibility for me. Aotearoa is a small land mass compared to Australia and the US but our hearts are big.”
